Tiramisu Overnight Oats
Ingredients
Base Layer
- ⅓ cup oats
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup milk of choice (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 1 shot espresso
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
Cream Layer
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ½ tablespoon milk of choice (I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- ½ tablespoon protein powder (optional. If not using, add a bit of maple syrup or honey to sweeten)
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Stir together base ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.⅓ cup oats, ¼ cup Greek yogurt, ¼ cup milk of choice, 1 shot espresso, 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, milk and protein powder until smooth.½ cup Greek yogurt, ½ tablespoon milk of choice, ½ tablespoon protein powder
- Remove base layer from refrigerator and pour yogurt mixture on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- When ready to eat, dust with cocoa powder.Cocoa powder for dusting
Notes
- If you don’t have espresso, increase the milk to 1/3 cup and stir in 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee.
- For extra creaminess, blend the oats.
- Dust with cocoa powder just before serving.
