Classic Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

An easy, super moist banana bread recipe made with Greek yogurt and chocolate chips.

Jump to Recipe

If you’re looking for a soft, moist banana bread, this classic chocolate chip version is a must-bake. Overripe bananas bring natural sweetness, while Greek yogurt keeps the crumb tender and rich

One simple trick that takes it to the next level: placing a strip of butter on top of the batter before baking. As the loaf bakes, the butter melts into the top and creates that perfect bakery-style crack.

The result is a loaf that’s moist, chocolatey, and incredibly satisfying. The Kitchen Duchess verdict: worth it!
