Classic Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 3 bananas (overripe is best)
- ⅓ cup oil (any neutral oil)
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1¾ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or grease and flour (whichever you prefer).
- In a large bowl, mash bananas. Add oil, eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice. Stir until combined.3 bananas, ⅓ cup oil, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Add white sugar and stir until combined.¾ cup white sugar

- Fold in Greek yogurt until mixed through. Add chocolate chips and gently stir until they're mixed throughout the batter.½ cup plain Greek yogurt, ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- Pour into prepared loaf pan. If you'd like, add a thin strip of butter along the middle to get that perfect bakery-style crack in your loaf – optional.
- Bake for 65-70 minutes. Loaf is done when a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
