Big Mac Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 package King's Hawaiian Rolls (12 pack)
- 1 lbs. ground beef
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 6-8 cheddar cheese slices (depending on the size of slices)
- 1 cup iceburg lettuce, shredded
- ½ cup white onion, diced
- ½ cup pickle slices
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1.2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Copycat Big Mac Sauce:
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons French salad dressing
- 4 teaspoons relish
- 1 tablespoon white onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375℉.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Line a baking sheet with tin foil (dull side up). Press the ground beef mixture in a thin layer. You want a rectangle shape measuring about 9"x11".
- Bake the beef patty for 20-30 minutes, until the beef registers an internal temperature of 170℉ using a meat thermometer. Remove and set aside, but keep the oven on.
- While the beef cooks, make the Big Mac sauce by combining all ingredients in a bowl. Stir until combined. Set aside.
- Take rolls out of package, keeping them together. Slice the entire loaf in half and gently lift the burger patty from the baking sheet and place on top of bottom buns. Top with cheese slices and return to the oven. Set it to broil until the cheese melts.
- Add the sliced pickles, minced onion and shredded lettuce on top of the cheese.
- On the top bun half, spread a generous layer of Big Mac Sauce and top the burgers.
- Baste the burger tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Cut each slider so you have 12 burgers. Serve with extra Big Mac sauce on the side.
Notes
- Make extra Big Mac sauce so you can have extra on the side.
- Make sure tin foil is dull side up (the side the food goes on). That is the non-stick side.
Whether you’re hosting a game day party, feeding a crowd, or just want a fun dinner idea, these Big Mac Sliders always deliver. They’re nostalgic, satisfying, and incredibly easy to make. It’s the kind of recipe everyone in my house asks for.
